The basic Clipper design was done by “Dutch” Darrin. 1946 saw the 1941 style updated w/trim and shared the same chassis with the Clipper 8 on a 120 in. wheel base. Super and Custom Clippers used the 127 in. wheel base and 356 cubic inch 165 hp engines.
